X-Mas Kid's Day Style

Christmas Kid's Day style is all about decorating the program, so that it feels like Christmas at home. All of the decorations that we put up makes the program look like the mall.

At Kid's Day we have already started to make christmas decorations in our activities. I made a lot of  pretty snowflakes out of paper with Mark. The older kid's put up the Christmas tree in meeting room and its so nice even though its a fake tree.

Christmas is not just about the presents it is about spending time with your family and your friends. I love Christmas, do you?

My Favorite Christmas Carols

Christmas is coming up and when you hear those christmas carols, it just makes you want the 25th to hurry up and come!

When I hear Christmas Carols I just start dancing to those nice tunes. My favorite Christmas Carols would have to be "All I want for christmas," by Mariah Carey and "Frosty the snowman".

Princess And The Frog

I think Disney took too long to make this movie. I think they should make movies with princesses from all cultures such as Latinas. If kids do not see princesses or other characters that belong to the same culture as them they might feel forgotten. Kid's may feel mad when they see the same kind of princess that they have  seen before, but in a different movie.

My opinion is  that children should  be able to see characters that look like them, so they can pretend that  they are in the movie.When I was younger I use to pretend that I was in the fairytale movie,  but now that I am older I don't anymore.

Overall, I am excited to see The Princess and The Frog. I think this movie will be fun to watch, but  if you don't like it you can watch something else. Princess and the Frog will hit theatres this Friday!

Who's In The Holiday Spirit?

I am definitely in the holiday spirit this year! What I like about christmas is the huge christmas trees. I like this holiday because it's fun, the presents are cool, and how everyone in my family travels from New York to visit my family.

When I open my presents on Christmas morning I just want to scream. I really think the 25th of December is all about having fun, but mostly about the birth of Jesus too. Why? Because that's what my church and I think. We don't think it's all about the presents. It's all about Jesus and his B-day, also how he made the world and died for all of our sins.

That's what I think christmas is all about.
