Amanda sums up Kids' Day's Boston Police Department Visit
Your waiting to go to the bathroom at Stop&Shop, but someone is inside. You don't know who's inside, so you open the door thinking you are just going to use the bathroom and a then a stranger tries to talk to you. This story was told to the group by one of my peers after the Boston Police Department came to speak to the Kids' Day Program.
You should never talk to starngers because it is dangerous. When a stranger approaches you walk away or call the police, so it won't happen again! It's your choice not mines, but I think you should ask for help.
Today 2/16/10, police officers came to Kids' Day. They talk about alot of things. The first thing was bullying. They said that you can bully though your actions, you can bully by cyber bullying and others. I learned a lot. They spoke about other things too. I think this is something you can pass onto other people because it will help alot.
Thanks for reading my blog post!

Hi Amanda - nice write-up! It stinks to be bullied in any way. I'm glad the officers took the time to talk with you all about it, and that you all had a chance to hear them. What a great thing to spend time talking about! Now everyone is better prepared. I especially liked your "hook" at the beginning - good literary device!!
Great blog Amanda!! It made me wish that I could have skipped work yesterday and joined Kids Day for the visit from the police officer!! Your blog was great since you talked about what you learned, but also your opinion and what YOU would do if you were in a shady situation. I'm sure a lot of people can learn from your great advice!! :)
